St John of God Midland Public & Private Hospitals has a total of 367 beds, 307 for public patients and 60 for private patients and is conveniently located within one complex, bringing health care closer to home.
We are currently seeking a Registrar (Paediatrics) to join the team on fixed term full-time basis for one or two years.
Work with some of Perth’s leading Consultants in a busy unit, with exposure across the field of Paediatrics including inpatients and outpatients, as well as neonates where clinically appropriate.
The department has an active teaching programme and encourages professional growth.
The Requirements
- Eligible for Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- A minimum of two (2) years clinical experience in a range of medical, surgical and acute care disciplines commensurate with this position.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, family members and other caregivers.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively as a team member.
- Experience in collaborative problem solving.
- Analytical skills and demonstrated ability to make good management decisions.
- Participation in periodic performance review with a commitment to forward career progression and maintenance of essential skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement.
- Accountability for time, performance and productivity
