About the Job
We are seeking a talented, passionate and caring Lifestyle Assistant to deliver innovative and impactful lifestyle programs and related activities at Aurrum Reservoir.
This is a part-time position, on a 7 month fixed contract working 4 days per week. You must be available to work during the week days and on a Saturday each week from 9:00AM - 4:00PM.
We especially want to hear from confident and empathetic individuals who can work independently or as part of a team, with demonstrated ability to organise and facilitate a range of group and individual programs for our residents
About You
To be successful in the Lifestyle Assistant role, you will have:
- Cert III or IV in Leisure and Lifestyle, or other relevant post-secondary or tertiary qualification (ideal but not essential)
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating and delivering Lifestyle programs in an Aged Care environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate, and comfortable using MS Office suite of programs
- Able to manage competing priorities, and be flexible with hours
- An appreciation and respect for working with people from diverse backgrounds
