About the business and the role

We are looking for a Community Pharmacist experience to join our team as Full-time or Part-time at Coburg and Oak Park. We have a small team of staff, who respect each other and bond together as a family. 

We have consumers who have long association with us for the care we provide them to achieve positive health benefits.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Your duties will include

• Dispensing prescriptions to accuracy and familiar with PBS criteria
• Providing counselling as required to customers
• Dispensing Suboxone/Methadone and follow the DHS guidelines
• Assisting with OTC sales and advice towards better health
• Motivating and train other staff and providing a great working environment
• Creating orders for dispensary stock and maintaining inventory levels
• Running a dispensary, driving and overlooking clinical interventions, Webster packing, Meds checks, Diabetes checks, Stage supply, Blood pressure and Blood sugar monitoring, and keeping up Medicare and NDSS claims.

Skills and experience

The candidate should be friendly and pleasant, with great interpersonal skills and work ethic. Should have passion towards profession and care for patients. Preferably you will need to have worked as a Community Pharmacist for at least a year or so and be able to work as the only Pharmacist on Duty and manage your time and workflow effectively.

Recent pharmacy graduates willing to develop their pharmacy and management skills are welcome to apply. Training is provided.
