An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual with strong business acumen and project management skills coupled with extensive pharmacy industry experience to drive the dispensary operations at Gawler Pharmacies Pty Ltd (GPPL). GPPL comprises of four community pharmacies, each catering to a different customer base but with one key aspect in common, to provide the highest quality of professional services.
Pharmacy Lynx has over 25 years’ experience in building and managing successful pharmacies and are proudly Australian owned and run. We currently have 14 pharmacies Australia-wide and employ over 250 dedicated pharmacy professionals.
The role
As the Pharmacist Operations Manager you will be at the forefront of driving store initiatives, providing reputable guidance to pharmacists and seeking new business opportunities. In this role you will interact with staff, nursing homes, customers, management and regulatory bodies. You will need to be a strong communicator, highly organised and outcome orientated!
Ideally, this role will oversee four pharmacies however it will primarily be based at store level where you will need to manage and drive dispensary operations.
This is a Full time role with flexibility to work across 7 days.
Key requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Pharmacy or equivalent
- Obtained current APHRA Registration
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Pharmacist Manager or significant experience in a similar area of practice
- Experience in change management, quality and operational improvement
- Extensive Community Pharmacy dispensary knowledge using Minfos system; Webster packing; OTC consultations; Performing 6CPA initiatives
- Experience with using a packing system and liaising with nursing homes
- Strong understanding of retail operations
- Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Availability across 7 days and out of business hours when required
