Fellow - General Surgery
Ballarat Health Services (BHS) is seeking to appoint a full-time (38 hours per week) Fellow in General Surgery with a broad base of skills for a fixed term of 12 months, commencing in February 2019.
The successful applicant will have FRACS and be prepared to work across the range of general surgery. The role will be responsible for an outpatient clinic, operating theatre/endoscopy sessions as well as ward rounds and administrative time as per the demands of the workload. The applicant will be expected to participate in the general surgery oncall roster. The role will also have a supervisory role over junior medical staff.
The role will provide excellent exposure to a range of elective and emergency general surgery for a Fellow looking to consolidate their experience.
