We are a not-for-profit aged care provider with a reputation we are proud of, made possible by our commitment to continuous improvement in all aspects of the care services we provide to meet individual needs. We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to work various shifts at our aged care home, ralac Lionsbrae. Lionsbrae is very focused on providing care within a "rights framework" and you will need to be philosophically committed to this approach. Lionsbrae also provides care to younger people, many of whom have complex histories and diagnoses.
Essential
- Registered Nurse with current Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Experience in Aged care
- Knowledge of contemporary care practices with a focus on dementia issues.
- Sound verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Computer usage and in Clinical Care Systems such as Leecare.
- Ability to supervise and develop team members.
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge and experience of ACFI, Accreditation requirements and the Aged Care Act.
