What you'll be doing
The Senior Allied Health Professional is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team, providing high quality services to patients/ clients of the WNSW Local Health District in order to meet their health and wellbeing needs.
Selection Criteria
- A bachelor or post graduate degree in Occupational Therapy with current authority to practice as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Knowledge, skills and experience to meet the requirements of the NSW Health Professionals Award Level 2.
- Demonstrated proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Extensive specialist or broad generalist knowledge, clinical proficiency and ability to work with minimal supervision, and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work / caseload.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement and evidence based practice.
- Demonstrated ability to lead planning and evaluation of team activities.
- Demonstrated ability to provide and coordinate staff and student supervision
- A current license to drive in NSW.
