Clinical Nurse Educator Employment Type: Permanent Part Time Position Classification: Clinical Nurse Educator Remuneration: $46.84 - $48.36 Hours Per Week: 19 Requisition ID: REQ50954 Where you'll be working Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing The Clinical Nurse Educator will be guided by the Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Consultant in leading, developing, co-ordinated and implementing all structured learning for nurses within NSLHD. The Clinical Nurse Educator will provide clinical teaching, orientation, skill accreditation and professional development support for all nursing staff and students. The Clinical Nurse Educator will have a role in the provision of hospital orientation and mandatory training. They will also be expected to teach in courses appropriate to nursing within and at facilities external to NSLHD. The Clinical Nurse Educator will participate in the development and teaching of the NSLHD Nursing Professional Development Program (this includes travelling to other sites within the LHD for lecturing and facilitation of workshops).
