Our client’s a non government organisation, require an experienced social workers to partner with carers for families and children.
The main purpose of this organisation is to provide support to carers, and the case management of the child in care.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting case management services including, assessment, planning, facilitation, implementation, advocacy, crisis intervention and best practice models relevant to the child’s needs.
• Forge good relations with the child, their families and the carers. This may include education, assessments and promotion of equality.
• Provide a prompt, efficient, flexible and personalised service committed to delivering a high quality output.
• Ensure compliance with child protection procedures.
To be eligible you will need the following:
• A Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent and current registration
• Minimum of two years full time equivalent post-graduate experience
• Case management experience dealing with children and families
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
