The Position
St John of God Murdoch Hospital is currently seeking applications from Registered Midwives to join the team on our Maternity ward, St Mary. We are seeking passionate and experienced midwives who are committed to working within best practice, and providing an exceptional standard of care to all of our patients.
We have two positions available, to be offered on a permanent part time basis, with up to 70 hours per fortnight (0.92FTE) on offer for the successful candidates. The successful candidates will be expected to work across a variety of shifts on a rotating roster.
At least 12 months post registration experience is essential for further consideration.
The successful candidate will have:
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Midwife.
- Recent clinical experience in an acute care/relevant environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Well-developed skills in communication, conflict resolution, negotiation and problem solving.
- Commitment to personal and professional development.
