Your opportunity

We are looking for a Team Leader to join our successful Leadership team in Brisbane!

As a Team Leader, you will provide management support to IPAR staff, ensuring excellence in quality of services and contributing to our continued business growth. You will also manage a reduced caseload, working with people who have sustained a psychological or physical injury, assessing their needs, then developing and implementing strategies to enable a safe return work as part of their rehabilitation. You will provide leadership and management to a team of consultants coaching and mentoring them to achieve their full potential, whilst also having the opportunity to further your leadership skills as an integral part of our QLD Leadership team.

Like our best performers, you will be a driven and energetic professional, with strong verbal and written communication skills. You will have the confidence to utilise initiative to solve problems and achieve outcomes. Your personable approach will assist to manage stakeholder expectations and to build strong relationships with key customers.

You will also have:

• Full or provisional registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency); or
• Full membership with ASORC (Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors) or ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia);
• Allied Health Qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Psychology, or Rehabilitation Counselling;
• Experience in Occupational or Vocational Rehabilitation;
• A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the health benefits of work;
• The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers;
• Current driver's license and motor vehicle;
• Proven experience leading a team of Rehabilitation consultants.
