About The Role

Reporting to the headspace Portfolio Manager, you will lead the headspace Bathurst team in providing high quality clinical services to young people in the community in line with headspace contract deliverables.

The role provides managerial support to satellite centres attached to headspace Bathurst, including Lithgow and Cowra.

You will have management responsibility for staff and contractors, work to agreed contract KPIs and compliance, ensure robust governance, and support business development activities.

Most importantly, you will work to achieve a high level of staff and client satisfaction, and embody our ICARE values.

Key Qualifications and Experience

This role is a crucial contributor to the success of headspace Bathurst and outreach facilities. 

Your understanding of and passion for working with young people are essential for this position. 

You will demonstrate the ability to problem solve and make decisions that show integrity and initiative.

Additionally, you will have management and leadership experience, the ability to build and maintain relationships, and excellent communication skills.

Tertiary qualifications relevant to, and/or experience in, the delivery of mental health and/or youth services would be viewed favourably.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets.

  • Dynamic written and oral communication skills with proven ability to prepare plans, reports and policy documents, and make presentations.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision making skills that show integrity and initiative.

Desirable

  • Tertiary qualifications relevant to, and/or experience in, the delivery of mental health and/or youth services.
