An opportunity has become available to join our professional, friendly and dynamic team at Berwick Family Osteopathy and Spinal Clinic in a reception/administration assistant role. We are seeking a highly motivated person with excellent reception and patient care skills to join our team. You will be providing reception support to our osteopaths and allied health practitioners at both of our clinics located within the Berwick area.
Berwick Family Osteopathy & Spinal Clinic is a highly professional and modern osteopathic and allied health business committed to providing excellent patient care. As well as osteopathy we provide remedial massage therapy, yoga and clinical pilates classes to the Berwick and wider communities.
This role involves duties including:
- Meeting and greeting patients in a friendly professional manner
- Scheduling appointments via our electronic booking system
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls, emails and faxes
- Handling financial transactions including cash, EFTPOS and HICAPS payments, and performing a daily reconciliation.
- Scanning and electronically filing documents
- General housekeeping
- Other tasks as required in the support of practitioners and the day to day running of the practices
- Liaising with professionals both within our business and the wider community
The applicant must be able to demonstrate the following qualities:

This is a casual position and you will be required to work approximately 15-30 hours per week.
Our hours of operation range from:
- 8am-8pm Monday to Friday
- 8am-2.30pm Saturdays.
This position is available for an immediate start for the successful applicant and would suit someone who can work within the above hours of operation. You will also be required to cover additional holiday and sick leave as required. Flexibility is of the highest importance.
Experience in the medical or allied health industry is preferred but not essential. On the job training will be provided before commencing in the position. Ongoing training and support are provided.
You must also hold a current Drivers License and Working with Children Certificate
