We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Engineer to provide technical advice and support on maintenance, installation and servicing of our medical equipment (software & hardware).
About the role:
Due to strong business growth, an exciting new Sydney-based opportunity has been created for a customer focused engineer to become part of a dynamic team and provide technical support across a broad range of medical equipment.
• Work collaboratively across the broader organisation to deliver outstanding customer service and develop strong customer relationships.
• Services include preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, installation and commissioning of equipment and software.
• Provide technical / troubleshooting support and guidance to accredited subcontract engineers in Australia and New Zealand and ensure subcontractors are compliant with their contractual requirements.
• Ensure technical service process compliance with quality management and accreditation requirements.
• Provide expert technical support during clinical product evaluations.
• Work with inventory management to ensure adequate spare parts inventory.
Experience and Position Requirements:
• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering, ideally with experience in a customer facing technical service role within medical equipment industry.
• Experience with dialysis equipment, Reverse Osmosis Systems and Infusion Pumps would be highly regarded.
• Ideally, a minimum of 2 years technical service experience
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Organized, on-time, and detailed project management skills.
• Excellent IT and computer skills
• Ability to travel (domestic and internationally)
• Be able to work reasonable additional hours outside business hours at such times as are necessary to efficiently and effectively carry out the job role as defined by B. Braun from time to time.
