Location
The client is located in a prosperous city just over two hours' drive from Melbourne. It has excellent shopping, sporting, cultural and education facilities – including a private co-education school with outstanding Year 12 results. Boasting a mild climate this location has easy access to surf beaches, lakes, mountains and snowfields offer an ideal setting to enjoy a work life balance.
Facility
The clients Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) service includes a Women's and Children's unit, labour ward, antenatal clinic and a Level 2 Special Care Nursery and currently operates with 3 O&G consultants, 2 O&G Registrars, 1 Hospital Medical Officer and a capable team of nursing, allied health and support staff. 3 Consultant Paediatricians also work within the unit. There was approximately 420 births 2016-2017.
The facility delivers services to patients within a collaborative framework incorporating a woman-centred model of care and is an accredited RANZCOG training site.
Role Description
The hospital is seeking an experienced O&G Registrar to join their modern and progressive hospital.
Requirements
Essential: To apply you must hold or be eligible for AHPRA registration.
Desirable: Full general registration with AHPRA or eligible for registration via the Competent Authority Pathway.
