CARDIAC TECHNOLOGIST (EP) – ANGIOGRAPHY SUITE
CASUAL (Relief) POSITION
Expressions of interest are now being accepted for suitably qualified Cardiac Technologist who would be interested to join our great Cath Lab team on Casual basis relieving in the role of EP technician
RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE:-
- Be available for casual day and holiday relief work when required, shifts potentially would be 12hrs in length
- Provide support for the Cardiologists in EP cases
- Be able to use equipment competently and troubleshoot systems required as listed:-
- GE Cardio – Lab & associated equipment.
- Johnson & Johnson ablation system.
- Medtronic Cryotherapy Console.
- Perform recording and measurements of pts in Electrophysiology procedures
- Perform appropriate patient setup for electrophysiology procedures (eg. 12 lead ECG, 3D mapping system patches.)
- Be a team player - Assist Lab staff as required in the daily running of the Lab
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF APPLICANTS:-
- Bachelor degree in science in a relevant discipline with strong human anatomy / physiology focussing on cardiac.
- Ability to work unassisted in the Electrophysiology Lab.
- Experience with programming of Pacemakers and Defibrillators.
- While not mandatory, completion of a graduate diploma in cardiac electrophysiology will be well regarded (CEPIA / IBHRE).
