The Role
We are looking for reliable, ethical and passionate psychologists to join our team.
1. Permanent Full-time or Part-time position
- Full-time 5 days per week or part-time (3 or 4 days) at our NEW Carina Office
- Counselling Intervention
- Psychometric Assessments
- Group Therapy
2. Independent Contractor
- 3 to 5 days at our NEW Carina office and Strathpine office
3. Board Approved Supervisor & Psychologist
- Full-time or part-time 4 days per week at our NEW Carina Office
- Intervention clients
- 4+2/5+1 provisional psychologist supervision
Your skills and experience
Required:
- An experienced generally registered Psychologist (Provisional Psychologists need not apply)
- Experience and willingness in working with children and families who have experienced trauma (e.g. domestic violence, child sexual abuse)
- Be eligible for an Medicare Provider Number
- Demonstrated experience in providing comprehensive counselling, and therapeutic interventions, to children, young people and adults who present with issues related to mental health, trauma, challenging behaviours, family separation as well as general wellbeing.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and providing evidence based interventions for children, young people and adults.
- Be able to work independently, and as part of a busy team, catering to the needs of the client.
- Willingness to undergo a federal police check.
- Hold (or willing to obtain) professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- Willingness to undertake sessions 'offsite' at schools and other services (as required)
Desired:
- Experience in undertaking psychometric assessments (e.g. WISC, WPPSI, WRAML)
- Psychologists with Board Approved Supervisor status encouraged to apply
- Psychologists with 3+ years experience post general registration with an interest in untertaking ST
