About the opportunity

This role is responsible for guiding the process of clinical practice improvement in the area of Wounds care, ensuring clinical practices are research based, innovative and up-to-date, leading clinical service delivery and consultancy strategy and contributing to service-related professional development, to ensure Uniting delivers market leading clinical services.
You will: 
  • Provide expert clinical advice on Wounds care to patients, carers and healthcare providers
  • Lead the development of clinical practices in the area of Wounds care
  • Initiate and distribute the findings of research into Wounds and care models for this condition
  • Contribute to development and delivery of Wounds care related education programs
  • Support the development and implementation of clinical practice models and polices for the area of Wounds care and assist in their implementation in services.

About you

You are an exceptional team player with a high level of energy and enthusiasm that thrives on helping others.  
You will also have:

  • Current registration with APHRA as a register nurse
  • Master’s Degree in Wounds care or related Aged Care field
  • Significant clinical leadership experience in Wounds or aged care for a minimum of 3 years
  • Strong leadership skills focused on mentoring and coaching others to lead clinical care best practice
  • Familiar with legislative requirements for the human services/not-for-profit/aged care industry
  • Experience in report writing and documentation skills
