Medical Receptionist/casual position
Experienced Medical Receptionists preferably in specialist surgical rooms need only apply.
We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our sole Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist Practice with rooms in Wakefield Street, Adelaide. Car parking available.
Initially a casual position leading to permanent part time of 3 days per week. Flexibility is a prerequisite, with the ability to cover for sick and holiday leave.
Duties Include:
- Answering the telephone
- Computer based booking and rescheduling appointments
- All facets of computer based patient billing and invoicing as well as processing Medicare, DVA and Health Fund Claims
- Assisting in all general office duties including filing, mail, recalls and banking
Key requirements:
Proficient knowledge of Pracsoft software
- Provide exceptional front reception services and support to our patients during consulting sessions
- Highly organised with good time management and attention to detail
- Empathetic nature and professional attitude at all times
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to act in a confidential manner at all times
- Previous experience working in busy medical rooms, preferably in specialist surgical rooms
- Audio Typing an advantage
- Proficient knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office suite
