REGISTERED PRACTICE NURSE for Plastic Surgeon

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Plastic/Cosmetic Registered Nurse to join Dr Sean Nicklin's plastic surgery practice conveniently located in the Eastern Suburbs 4-5 days per week.

About the role

• Provide pre & post op care to patients including dressings and wound care
• Assisting with medical procedures
• Managing the treatment room
• Managing clinical photograph database
• Sterilizing and maintaining equipment
• Managing nursing administrative checklists
• Communicating sensitive information to patients including pathology/test results
• Medical stock control

Essential Criteria

• Current AHPRA registration
• Previous Plastic/Cosmetic Surgery experience highly regarded but not essential
• Previous experience in private practice highly regarded
• Use of Genie medical software preferred but not essential
• Demonstrated ability to manage a busy workload and ability to multi-task
• Recent clinical nursing experience with wound care and minor procedures would be advantageous
• Excellent patient relationship skills
• Previous Medispa experience and qualifications desirable but not essential
• Caring and compassionate attitude
• You should be able to work autonomously and as part of a small team, with superior communication skills to provide empathetic care
