Come join our Shellharbour team in this rewarding Second in Charge (2IC) role, where you will assist the Practice Manager to ensure the smooth day to day operation of our busy medical centre through:
- Managing the delivery of quality customer service to doctors, nurses and patients
- Managing and developing the reception and nursing team, including staff rosters
- Maintaining a safe, healthy and professional working environment
- Assisting the Practice Manager with maintaining accreditation, implementing initiatives and promotions, and improving centre performance.
- Taking responsibility for staff management, and the efficient delivery of administrative and customer service aspects of the centre in instances the Practice Manager is absent from the Centre.
Do you have the qualities that we are looking for?
- Previous experience in a similar role (practice manager, 2IC, team leader, etc.)
- An understanding of business operations in the healthcare industry
- Experience in staff rosters would be advantageous
- Excellent leadership, organisation and management skills
- Team orientation with excellent communication skills
- A caring and collaborative approach to customer service
- A sense of urgency, compassion and professionalism
- Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
- Previous experience with medical software such as Best Practice is desirable.
