The Role
As a result of significant growth and maternity leave, we are seeking a P2 or P3 Clinical Psychologist to continue to provide clinical care in group and individual sessions within the acute and rehabilitation settings. This is currently a 12 month maternity position and may be full time or part time. Working in an allied health team model, we are seeking flexible, patient-centred and experienced staff eager to join our teaching hospital. With a focus on excellence in clinical treatment and a strong customer service ethos, you will be interested in delivering best practice and willing to embrace our model of care.
Clinically, you will be well versed in the provision of excellent care to inpatients and outpatients, across areas including pain management, neurology, orthopaedics, trauma, cardiac, spinal surgery and respiratory.
Key areas of focus for this role include:
- Delivering an exceptional patient experience
- Developing the psychology service across acute and rehabilitation specialties
- Ensuring patient flow is managed whilst providing high standards of patient care
- Role-model empathy to patients, families and medical consultants
Skills & Experience
To be successful in the role you will:
- Have a friendly disposition
- Be passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes
- Have flexible shift availability
Relevant post graduate qualifications are desirable.
