Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm
(Temporary role with a view to an ongoing)
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing appropriate assurance review tools that both comply with legislative and quality standards. All tools will be developed in close consultation with teams across the organisation with a view to moving beyond compliance and quality to focus on any possible improvements to the client’s overall quality of life
- Completing scheduled assurance reviews of all client-related activities, documentation and processes within the specified time frame. Seeking input from Client Services employees, you will negotiate any follow up activities with responsible person and ensure action items are completed in a timely manner
- Record, monitor and maintain continuous improvement and corrective action plans
- Identify and anticipate quality accreditation developments and changes within the community services sector
- Identify and analyse Reportable Events and incidents, working closely with organisational teams to promote the timely recording of events and the completion of follow up activities
- Prepare for, and participate in, external audits
- Effectively participate as a valued member of the Governance team
What you’ll need:
- National Police clearance required
- Current C Class Driver's licence and capacity to travel both within metro Perth, WA
- Recent community aged care, case management experience, including knowledge of aged care legislation, accreditation and quality standards
- Experience in working within, and contributing to, compliance, quality and continuous, improvement systems
- Experience in the development and promotion of a blame -free, client centered culture that values feedback and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to adapt work priorities and achieve deadlines to meet evolving business needs.
- Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- High-level attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills
Desirable:
- Customer service and effective complaints management experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
