Acting Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Ward 9.1 Position Summary Associate Nurse Unit Manager, Ward 9.1, Box Hill Hospital Maternity Leave position for 9 months 64 hours / fortnight Eastern Health is one of Melbourne’s largest public health services. We provide a comprehensive range of high quality acute, sub-acute, palliative care, mental health, drug and alcohol, residential care and community health services to people and communities that are diverse in culture, age, socio-economic status, population and healthcare needs. Ward 9.1 is a 32 bed slow stream Geriatric Evaluation and Management ward based at Box Hill Hospital. Are you looking to develop or consolidate your clinical leadership skills, or are you currently an Associate Nurse Unit manager looking for a change? We are currently looking for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team to cover a maternity relief position for a nine month period. To be considered for this role it would be desirable to have experience in rehabilitation nursing or recent acute care nursing. Our team cares for a wide range of patients with often complex discharge planning needs, the patients are admitted directly from the acute wards and their medical and therapeutic needs are always diverse. Our ward culture is underpinned by a strong team of individuals who are focused on the multi-disciplinary model of care who always aspire to achieve great patient outcomes.
