Bupa Dental Moorabbin specialises in general, cosmetic and preventative dental care. We pride ourselves on providing an individually focused and tailored experience for every patient.
An incredible opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team permanently on a full time basis working 4.5 days during the week with half day Saturdays included. This position is suitable for a candidate with a minimum of 6 months experience in providing general chairside assisting at a local Australian dental practice. You will also have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build good patient rapport.
About the role:
- Chairside assisting in all aspects of general dentistry
- Provide sterilisation and infection control solutions, maintain stock control
- Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
- Patient care from entry to the surgery, recall management
- Reporting as necessary on practice activities to the practice manager
- Maintain and monitor an appropriate level of supplies in treatment room and order as required
About you:
- Minimum 6 months chairside assisting experience at a local practice essential
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting will be highly regarded but not necessary
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to be punctual, reliable and well presented
- Must be able to work in a large team environment
- A caring and friendly personality that will motivate those around you
- Available to work Full Time 4.5 days a week including Saturdays from 8:30am to 1:30pm
