The Dementia Centre was founded by HammondCare in 1995 as an impartial resource and provider of research and expertise to the aged and dementia care community. This is key to HammondCare's commitment to excellence in dementia care.
More about the role
The Dementia Centre has several exciting roles in the area of research coordination and delivery available. These roles work within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to drive the development and delivery of key research projects.
These projects will involve the auditing of data, the use of qualitative & quantitative research methods to determine the utility of guidelines, gap analysis; determination of barriers and enablers in regards to implementation of project deliverables. Research areas also include complex behaviours, development of assessment pathways and tools.
The role of Research Project Coordinator responsibilities includes:
- High level skills in planning, excellent understanding of analytical frameworks, sound management skills and collegiate engagement leading to shared project accountability.
- Project Management and planning
- Ensure all project deliverables are met on time and within budget,
- Coordinate (and where required participate in) the collection and analysis of data, and co-writing of project-specific publications and presentations.
- Communicate effectively to project stakeholders, so that at all times throughout the project, people have access to key information and are able to be well informed about project status, delivery, risks and issues.
About you
It is expected that you have a relevant post-graduate degree at PhD or Masters level with demonstrated ability to lead a significant multi-methods research study and can share your expert knowledge and have an ability to apply appropriate quantitative and qualitative research methods. We are looking for an incumbent with experience in project management skills.
