HPS and its network of pharmacies supply a wide range of pharmacy services to health facilities, including private hospitals, public hospitals, cancer centres, correctional facilities and specialist clinics.

Servicing over 280 clients nationally, we have the expertise to deliver a large range of pharmacy services including; dispensary services, pharmaceutical product supply, inventory management, opioid management, clinical services, continued professional education and support, complex compounding - including oncology services, and specialist consultancy services.

The Opportunity

Due to an internal movement, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Pharmacist to be part of our highly skilled team at our new site based at The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre in Glen Waverley. This part time position will require you to work every Saturday from 8:45am to 12 noon. This position is available for immediate start. We ask that only those who are willing and able to commit to working this regular Saturday hours apply for this position.

Key responsibilities (inclusive but not limited to)

• Dispense and supply medications in line with legal and professional requirements

• Liaise with multidisciplinary health professional teams to ensure optimal health outcomes for patients

• Assist with pharmacy administrative and quality tasks as required

Selection Criteria

• Current and valid pharmacist registration with AHPRA

• Good working knowledge of the PBS system

• A positive outlook, with the ability to think ‘outside the box’ and solve complex problems independently

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Outstanding attention to detail

• Passion for good customer service with a ‘can-do’ attitude

• Proven ability to work autonomously and within a team

• Hospital and clinical pharmacy experience is highly desirable.
