P/T PHYSIOTHERAPIST REQUIRED
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Physiotherapist to join a busy and growing physiotherapy practice in the Tuggeranong region of Canberra. The position challenges the successful candidate to work a mixed case load from acute sporting injuries, work-cover rehabilitation to chronic disease management in and out of a hydrotherapy/commercial gym setting.
Stride Physiotherapy is a multi-disciplinary clinic that caters to the needs of its clients of any age or activity level. We pride ourselves in keeping abreast of the latest research in diagnosing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation programmes for our clients. Our goal is to improve our client’s movement potential.
Stride Physiotherapy is a first-choice physiotherapy provider with established links to local GP networks, rehabilitation providers, orthopaedic specialists, and sporting organisations. Our focus on patient centred care provides a diverse range of auxiliary services to our clientele including Pilates, structured/supervised exercise programmes carried out in a clinical/commercial gym/hydrotherapy setting.
We are seeking a highly motivated physiotherapist to be a part of our close-knit team. The right candidate will be able to:
- Clinically reason;
- Get along with people from diverse backgrounds;
- Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude;
- Plan, implement and review exercise rehabilitation programmes;
- Have the flexibility to work across two separate clinical sites.
Whilst we prefer candidates to have at least one-year experience in a private or public setting, new graduates are welcome to apply. Initially the position is up to 20+ hours a week, with the possibility for full time hours at a later stage. The candidate must:
- Be currently registered with AHPRA as a practising Physiotherapist without restriction
- Have an up-to-date and current indemnity/malpractice insurance policy
