Community Care Chemist is a progressive, retail pharmacy group with pharmacies in Geelong and Apollo Bay. We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Pharmacist to join our team in delivering positive health outcomes.
Based in Apollo Bay, a relaxed coastal town and tourist hot spot, along the Great Ocean Road, the position is definitely a lifestyle choice suited to an individual who enjoys community involvement and developing close relationships.
The position would suit an enthusiastic, self-motivated person with initiative, strong organisational and communication skills.
About the role
The Pharmacist Manager is supported by a collaborative team driving professional excellence. The regular roster will be around 46 hours per week including some overtime and weekend work which will be reflected in your remuneration package. The support of other Pharmacists will also be available when required.
Duties will include:
- Managing the implementation of Company Strategy and Annual Budgets
- Dispensing and Counselling
- Managing and driving the delivery of Professional Pharmacy Services
- Managing Retail Operations and Services
- Driving productivity, Staff development and Training
- Community engagement
Skills and Experience
- Minimum B.Pharm degree or equivalent
- Current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Excellent people skills with an ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to develop and maintain business and customer relationships
- Ability to manage health programs and professional services
- Proven track record for delivering results
- Commitment to holistic health management
