What you'll be doing The Allied Health Professional is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team, providing quality services to patients/ clients of the WNSW Local Health District in order to meet their health and wellbeing needs. Selection Criteria A bachelor degree in Social Work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.Demonstrated effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work / caseload.Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence based practice.Demonstrated understanding of services provided by a rural hospital Social Work Department, with the ability to provide practical and innovative crisis intervention strategies across a broad and often complex range of presenting issues.Demonstrated personal strategies for maintaining self-care in a position frequently experiencing stressful and traumatic encounters.Licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive occasionally for work purposes.
