Job title - Registered Nurse - ICU-CCU
Location - Bundaberg, Queensland
Salary - Up to $83,000 per annum depending on experience + super and penalties
Hours - Full time and part time available
Our client is a 142 bed acute care surgical and medical facility that provides the highest quality healthcare, modern facilities and the latest technology. Established as a not-for-profit medical facility in 1946 they have grown to become the leading hospital of choice for the Wide Bay Burnett regions; having proudly cared for our community for more than 65 years.
The Position
The 9 bed CCU/ICU provides a high level of care for acutely ill patients. As part of the CCU/ICU team you will work closely with the CIU team (Cardiac Investigation Unit) and Unit 2 (23 bed Cardiac Step down Unit) and will have the option to cross train in other areas.
The Person
Key Selection Criteria for this position includes:
- Previous nursing experience (minimum 2 years) in an acute hospital setting
- Demonstrated experience working in a critical care environment is preferred
- Current AHPRA registration
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close team environment
- Exceptional time management skills
- Dedication to delivering high standards of care
