What you'll be doing The Central Coast Alliance Manager will provide leadership to key integration activities that contribute to the development of a Central Coast Health Alliance between Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) and Hunter New England Central Coast Primary Health Network (HNECCPHN), working with other organisations as appropriate. This includes contributing and providing oversight to key integration programs and enablers, including but not limited to HealthPathways, eHealth activities, and academic research platforms and associated clinical work stream as identified by the Alliance Steering Committee. The role will foster a ‘whole of system’ approach, encompassing the influencing determinants of health that are cross-sectoral and across geographical boundaries, while building strong relationships between the partners involved. The position supports the strategic objectives of CCLHD and HNECCPHN by further developing key partnerships to deliver integrated and innovative health care with scalable outcomes, economies of scale, cost effectiveness and co-investment opportunities to improve the health outcomes of the community. The role will build on existing integration strategies and alliancing. Relevant experience in a health care setting and/ or relevant tertiary qualifications in a health-related discipline with a broad understanding of the health system and the interface between primary and tertiary care. Effective leadership skills and demonstrated ability to effectively establish relationships that motivate and develop staff in a multidisciplinary environment. High level interpersonal, writing and presentation skills with demonstrated success in consulting, facilitating, relationship building and negotiating with key stakeholders. Demonstrated capacity to identify and influence significant changes and improvements to well established systems and practices. Proven ability within a large multi-layered organisation to develop and successfully undertake projects that enhance patient centred healthcare and consider patient outcome measures as part of the project evaluation. Knowledge of clinical redesign and healthcare system improvement trends and research. Demonstrated experience in the use of contemporary information technology and computer applications, including data manipulation and analysis Demonstrated understanding of how Central Coast Local Health District is Caring for the Coast and how this role would contribute.
