We are a well established private billing GP practice with longstanding patients seeking an experienced medical receptionist to join our dynamic team. 

Recently under new management and working with our experienced practice manager you will enjoy the professional friendly atmosphere and the supportive work environment. 

The practice will shortly update software to Best Practice from the current program (Genie) - Experience in Best Practice is essential for this position to allow for the transition and training of other staff. Genie experience is not essential and on the job training will be provided. 

The responsibilities of the role

• Ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided at all times
• Strong customer service focus with a friendly, professional manner
• Booking appointments & managing the appointments schedule
• Managing mail, faxes and other correspondence
• Reception account duties such as billing, telephones and patient enquiries
• Process patient medical accounts including Medicare claims
• Clinic operations, eg opening and closing
