Job Description

Our Perinatal Early Intervention Service (EPC) is a 20 bed specialist inpatient unit for the assessment and treatment of new mothers' health and wellbeing providing acute specialist treatment programs consisting of group, individual, parent/infant, partner’s' group and parent education.

Masada EPC program is at the forefront of excellence in service provision for caregiver-and-infant healthcare that positively influence the physical, social and emotional health of parents/infants education

The program operates with a multi-disciplinary team of experienced professionals. Members of the team include Psychiatrists, Psychologists, General Practitioners, Psychiatric, Maternal and Child Health Nurses.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse at senior clinical level with early parenting experiences.

Essential Criteria

Successful applicants must possess:

• Relevant nursing registration in an Australian state or territory
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in parent/infant health
• Ability to support the NUM with tasks associated with management role
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and leadership skills
• Sound computer skills in MS office
• Working With Children Check
• Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Mentor and guide the performance of junior nursing staff
• Commitment to improvement and excellence in the delivery of health care services
• Available to work a 7 day rotating roster with varied start time for full shift each day

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience in a ANUM position
• Desire to further develop and expand perinatal health skills
