About us

Vital Healthcare operate four general practices located in Helensvale, Palm Beach, Banora Point and Tweed Heads South.   Providing all general medical services, we have recently undergone some changes and are now looking for someone to join our wonderful reception teams on a casual basis. Flexibility is a must!

About the role

As the first point of contact, you will manage the daily reception operations at our Tweed Heads and Banora Point practices. Your responsibilities will include:

• Booking and rescheduling patient appointments
• Greeting patients and answering telephone enquiries
• Billing, scanning and filing
• End of day batching using Pracsoft
• General Administrative duties

About you

• Prior recent experience as a medical receptionist is a must!
• Strong knowledge of medical billing and medical terminology
• Strong IT and problem solving skills
• Strong organisational skills
• Enjoy working with a friendly family focused team
• Experience with Medical Director / Pracsoft an advantage
• Professional phone manner
• Current Drivers Licence
