The Opportunity

Safety Australia and Sydney Trains are working collaboratively on the Reliability Program to place Registered Nurses on train stations to ensure the safe travel of their customers. This opportunity is fantastic for those who thrive in a diverse and lively work environment.

As an integral part of this program, your role is to assist customers who fall sick or are injured on trains and/or stations. This will include treatment both on and off the trains, with the aim of supporting Sydney Trains time table targets.

The Role

The structure of the role allows for our employees to rest and recharge in the middle of the day with split shifts and is Monday to Friday. The split shift hours are as below:

• 6 – 10 am
• 3 – 7 pm

As there is a wide variety of injuries and incidents that can occur on the stations and trains, our nurses work closely with NSW Ambulance if the patient requires more intensive treatment. A collaborative, problem solving approach is also vital for this role as you will be working alongside the Sydney Trains customer service team to ensure the utmost safety of and well-being of customers.

The Ideal Person Will Possess

• Current AHPRA Registration
• Degree Qualified Registered Nurse
• Compulsory current Police & Working with Children's Check
• Current Advanced Life Support Qualification (desirable)
• Strong Customer Services & Communication skills
