About the Position:
We now have a great opportunity for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team in Mackay.
Working as part of an experienced team you will be responsible for the day to day running of the dispensary including dispensing, counseling customers, stock ordering and control. You will take responsibility as Pharmacist In Charge on your rostered shifts.
About You:
Great with people and an excellent communicator, you will be able to deliver Pharmacy services to the local community and empower patients to manage their health and well-being through health promotion and education. You will motivate your pharmacy team with your amazing customer care and attention to detail.
To be successful in applying for this opportunity, you will ideally possess the following
- Previous experience working as a Pharmacist In Charge in a busy dispensary
- Previous experience with FRED dispensing software (preferred but not essential)
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexible, adaptable and willing to take on new challenges
- Empathetic and understanding of peoples needs
- Can relate to a diverse range of people
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Availability to work across store trading hours including evenings and weekends
- A desire to build your career as a Pharmacist with United Chemists and willingness to work across multiple stores in Mackay as required.
The successful applicant will have completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy and be registered with AHPRA.
