Lifestyle Services Manager - Multi-site - Aged Care - Melbourne

We currently have a full time vacancy, (working Monday to Friday) for an experienced Diversional Therapist / Lifestyle Manager. This role is responsible for providing a range of individual & group activities according to residents individual assessed physical, social, cultural and spiritual needs and preferences. This is a leadership role overseeing close knit lifestyle team across a portfolio of aged care facilities in the Melbourne metro.

In this busy and rewarding role, you will coordinate centre based day care, trips and well-being programs, including stimulating and relevant activities that enable residents to participate in a variety of experiences which improve their quality of life. You will be responsible for managing a diligent & enthusiastic lifestyle team, so we require a real motivator.

We're looking for a dynamic and innovative individual who can empower our clients and support them in achieving their therapeutic goals. 

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Diploma qualification in Diversional therapy or diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy
• Experience working in residential aged care: Minimum
• of two years
• Experience coordinating groups of people
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Ability and commitment to working as part of a team
• You will have a minimum of two years experience working in the Aged Care sector with a strong understanding of person-centered care and activity programming for clients.
• The capacity to work well autonomously and be a team player
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
• A current Police Check
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• A commitment to a continuous improvement approach.
