10 month Contractual Position
Calvary Bruce Private Hospital - Hyson Green is a private mental health facility, offering inpatient and day-patient programs in the areas of Mood, Anxiety, Substance Use, Eating and Psychotic disorders.
We are in a position to offer an exciting contract employment for a Psychologist interested in providing Day Program services to motivated and appreciative mental health consumers.
The Day Program has moved to new premises with improved facilities including gym, courtyards, dining/lounge room and reception. Within this new space the program will run a range of groups to facilitate patients’ management of mental illness and promote mental and physical well-being.
The position (HP3 level) is 4 days per week for 10 months, backfilling Maternity Leave.

Selection Criteria:
- Registration with AHPRA
- Written and oral communication, liaison and negotiation skills of a high order and appropriate computer skills.
- Experience in designing and delivering effective group programs.
- Experience in professional education and research activities or projects, including undergraduate programs.
- A sound understanding of the philosophical direction of the organisation and an ability to apply it in service planning and delivery.
- Demonstrated ability in liaising with VMOs, their reception staff, health funds and hospital staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
