ABOUT THE ROLES:
Fantastic opportunity to complete a Graduate Certificate in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing.
Join our award winning Tertiary Public Hospital. Our 61 bed “state-of-the-art” Neonatal Unit comprises of a Level 6 NICU and a Special Care Nursery.
- Fixed Term part time contract 64 hours per fortnight
- 1 year course, with some flexibility to start employment prior to the commencement of the academic year
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg
- Post graduate studies in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing provide opportunities for successful applicants to work in the rewarding field of neonatal care
- Clinical placement is provided by Mercy Hospital for Women with theoretical component provided by: Latrobe University or the University of Melbourne

ABOUT YOU:
- Registered Nurse (or Registered Nurse & Midwife) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum 12 months recent acute nursing/midwifery experience
- your position is dependent on your agreement to commence post graduate Neonatal Intensive Care within the first 12 months of employment
- Successful application with La Trobe University or the University of Melbourne
- Applicants are required to be an Australian Citizen or have Australian Permanent Residency
