The opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate professional committed to excellence with a "can-do" attitude and a focus on team collaboration, for the role of Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant. You will receive ongoing supervision and coaching to assist you in providing first class rehabilitation services to our broad range of clients.
Duties of the role include:
- Manage a caseload of clients and deliver the highest quality workplace rehabilitation services;
- Engage in regular liaison with employers, insurers, medical practitioner and other stakeholders to facilitate a timely and appropriate return to work;
- Complete reports which communicate clinical reasoning and provide effective strategies to achieve outcomes; and
- Undertake customer management activities as required;
The candidate:
The successful applicant will possess the following essential criteria:
- Allied Health degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology;
- Rehabilitation Counsellors, Occupational Nurses and Psychologists are also encouraged to apply;
- AHPRA or ESSA registration;
- A current driver's license and a reliable car;
- At least 1 year experience in Workplace Rehabilitation;
- High level time management skills and initiative;
- Proven competency to build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
