About Kalparrin
We have an exciting, permanent part time (0.5 FTE) position at our well established and rapidly expanding Not-For-Profit organisation. We are seeking a highly personable Physiotherapist with experience working with children with additional needs and their families, to join our multi-disciplinary team.

Job tasks and responsibilities
The primary tasks and responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing evidence-based individual and group Physiotherapy services to children from birth to high school transition.
- Conducting a range of formal and informal Physiotherapy assessments including diagnosis and treatment planning for young children
- Working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide best practice service to children and their families
- Engage in collaborative goals setting with families, to support children's development
- Keeping accurate and appropriate records, in accordance with organisational policies and funding obligations
The successful applicant will have:
- Current registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
- A minimum of two years experience working as an Physiotherapist
- Experience working with preschool aged children
- Experience working with children with a range of disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Chromosomal Disorders and Intellectual Disabilities
- Availability to work up to three days per week.
- A current Working with Children's Check and police check
- A car and current Victorian driver's license
- Successful completion of all required pre-employment screening for working with children and in the disability sector.
Though not a requirement of the role, applicants with aboriginal heritage will be considered advantageous to Kalparrin's expansion of its culturally sensitive services.
