We are an extremely busy Ophthalmology clinic based in Southport. Due to staff progression we are currently seeking an experienced medical receptionist to join our team. This is a casual position offering two to three days per week, and vacation cover. 

It is essential that the applicant be well presented, have a good eye for detail and excellent customer service skills.

Duties to include (but not limited to) 

.  Opening and closing of clinic.

.  Greeting patients, answering phones and making appointments . 

.  Processing incoming and outgoing correspondence.

.  Billing of consultations.

.  Medical terminology and typing.

.  Scanning and filing.

Essential criteria

.  Previous experience within a medical practice.

.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

.  Shexie software experience (desired but not essential)

.  High level of computer literacy.

.  Excellent organisational skills, time management and the ability to prioritise.

.  Be reliable, honest and possess a strong work ethic.

.  Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
