Nurse 4 Remuneration Package Range $114,879 - $123,297
(comprising salary $99,582 - $106,986, superannuation, leave loading and the value of 2 weeks extra recreation leave)
Potential total Remuneration Package in the vicinity of $139 315 which includes the above Package Range and in addition; post graduate qualification allowance, professional development allowance and salary sacrifice provisions

An exciting opportunity exists for an energetic and experienced primary health care nurse/ Maternal and child health nurse to join the East Arnhem North Primary Health Care (EANPHC) team as a Remote Area Nurse in the Gapuwiyak Health Centre.
The Gapuwiyak is a mainland community located on the shore of Lake Evella near the upper reaches of the Buckingham River. It is 60 air km south east of Galiwin’ku and 115 air km west of Nhulunbuy (220 km by good gravel road). There is almost year round road access to Katherine.
The Health centre services a population of approximately 1000 people where English is generally a second or third language. While Gapuwiyak is a small, remote community, the beautiful natural surrounds provide plentiful opportunities for outdoor activities such as camping and fishing in your off time, or you may wish to peruse the local art centre for a quality piece to add to your collection.
As a nurse/midwife, you will be involved in program delivery related to maternal and child health as well as offer acute services provided by a small team of four other nurses, Aboriginal health practitioners and trainees, community workers, drivers and administration staff. You need to have great communication skills, initiative, team approach skills, competent nursing skillset and a sense of humour.
