The Client

Our client within a Federal Government agency is seeking an Incident Coordinator who will be responsible for the coordination of investigations of incidents through the national program for the Agency. This position is based in Canberra.

The Role

This coordination position (APS6 or EL1) will require you to provide a wide range of experience, knowledge and skills including, but not limited to:

• Support business continuity planning, and the development and implementation of recovery plans as required.
• Support senior executives to resolve system problems.
• Remain aware of the Team’s priorities, including having an active involvement in collaborating with other areas of the Agency.
• Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including other agencies and industry bodies.
• Strong-willed
• Contribute to executive and risk management meetings and contribute to risk management activities across the Agency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide quality Incident Management services
• Provide reporting and data analysis relating to Incident Management
• Support Incident Management functions on a 24x7 on-call roster
• Adhering to the Agency Values and Code of Conduct.

This role is a 12-month contract initially, with the opportunity to either extend or move to a permanent contract. Our client is looking for the selected candidates to start as soon as possible – the shorter the notice period, the better!

 

 Baseline security clearance preferred
