Randstad is seeking an APS 6 Communications Officer to commence work immediately.
The full-time position is located in Canberra and available for immediate start for a period of up to 12 months.
About the role:
This role is within the Communication and Engagement Branch and deals with diverse subject matter.
The Communications Officer will:
- Draft and implement communication strategies
- Manage communication projects
- Liaise with business areas across the department
- Prepare written materials including editorial and internal news items
- Internal and external communications
About you:
The successful candidate will need the following key skills:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar communications role
- Experience managing internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in distributing content
- Eye for design and attention to detail
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications or other relevant field and/or equivalent industry experience
