About role
Manage the development, delivery and implementation of effective Internal and external communications, events and stakeholder engagement, based in Sydney CBD, Inner Wesnt and Parramatta.
Duties
- Manage the implementation of ongoing internal engagement and communication services through a range of platforms.
- Develop relationships with business areas to understand issues, negotiate and influence.
- Collaborate with SME’s to ensure that best practice is applied and that clients receive a seamless service.
- Maintain a sound understanding of employee composition, IT infrastructure, HR policies, vendor relationships and connections to external service delivery.
- Provide advice and guidance on communications to optimise employee engagement.
- Provide timely and relevant advice and responses to stakeholders.
- Stay current with insights, practices and capability in the areas of communications, employee engagement and technology.
- Foresee and manage risks relating to internal communications issues and work with stakeholders to mitigate them.
- Manage project teams to effectively develop and deliver outcomes within approved budget and timeframes.
- Contribute to the editorial development, design and production aspects of corporate communication
Skills and Experience
- Extensive knowledge of website planning, usability and accessibility concepts
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex written content
- Stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Extensive experience with enterprise Content Management Systems (preferably SharePoint 2013)
- Organisation skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines involving key projects
