Our client is the local government authority for the Camden area. Currently an opportunity exists for a Strategic Planner – Heritage - Officer to join the team.
This position would include the following duties:
- To deliver clear and concise heritage advice to help achieve balanced outcomes in a timely and consultative manner
- Prepare Development Application referral responses
- Represent Council in negotiations with stakeholders
- Provide technical assistance and advice on heritage planning matters to Council Staff, senior management, Council, developers and the community
- Delivery of agreed planning outcomes as identified in Council's Strategic Plan and Strategic Planning Branch work program
