Are you a proactive self starter? Do you have experience working with niche sectors such as the tourism industry, food and wine, cycling or similar?
As Tourism Industry Development Officer, you will assist operators to develop visitor experiences and/or events, enhance visitor signage, provide support to industry sectors in product development. In addition, you will coordinate industry training to forge stronger partnerships and strengthen the tourism product/experiences in the Greater Bendigo area.
You will have demonstrated experience in tourism, business or related field, highly developed people skills and the ability to co-ordinate and develop tourism product and deliver industry training/events and activities. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite and the internet, excellent administration skills and the ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with stakeholders are essential for this position.
