A fantastic opportunity exists to take the next step in your career with the City of Kingston. This senior role provides a unique opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional to influence and drive Kingston’s response to social and affordable housing.
With a Social and Affordable Housing Policy currently being developed, this senior role will be responsible for driving and coordinating the complex Council-wide issues relating to social and affordable housing. This includes liaising with consultants to ensure that the policy is completed to a high standard and then ensuring that the implementation actions arising from the policy are put into action.
With unprecedented public and private investment occurring across the municipality, your extensive knowledge and experience in affordable housing and strategic planning will be critical in informing Council’s social and affordable housing response to city shaping urban renewal projects, the State Government’s response to affordable housing, as well as ensuring that the provision of Social and Affordable Housing is at the forefront of the Council agenda.
